1. Technological outdatedness: Self-assessment of digital skills helps teachers identify areas for improvement and access training to stay up to date in the use of technology in teaching.

TOOL INDICATORS

Habilmind's Digital Competencies Self-Assessment uses 5 indicators to analyze the teacher's self-knowledge regarding their level of knowledge and use of technological tools and procedures applied to teaching.


At the end of the assessment, customized reports are issued on each of the following indicators:

Information and digital literacy

It measures the level of use and knowledge in the following aspects: navigation, searching and filtering; evaluation, storage and retrieval of information, data and digital content.

Creation of digital content

Measures the level of use and knowledge in terms of development, integration and reworking of content; copyright and licensing, programming.

Troubleshooting

It measures the level of use and knowledge of technical problem solving, identification of needs and responses, innovation and creative use of digital technology, identification of gaps in digital skills.

Communication and collaboration

It measures the level of use and knowledge of interaction through digital technologies, content sharing, online participation, digital collaboration, netiquette and digital identity.

Security

Measures the level of use and awareness regarding the protection of digital devices and content, personal data, health and well-being, and the environment.
