1. Improved early identification of emotional problems: Screening allows for early detection of emotional and mental health problems at an early age, facilitating timely intervention to address these difficulties and prevent their exacerbation.


2. Promoting a positive school climate: By identifying students' emotional distress, strategies can be implemented to improve coexistence at school, promoting a safer, more inclusive and respectful school environment.


3. Optimizing academic performance: By addressing students' emotional distress, their emotional well-being and, therefore, their academic performance can be improved, since emotional well-being is directly related to the ability to concentrate, stress management, and motivation to learn.

Development of coping skills: Identifying emotional disturbances and lack of emotional resources through screening allows for the design of specific interventions to strengthen students' coping skills, helping them to deal more effectively with difficult situations and develop greater emotional resilience.


4. Suicide risk reduction: By detecting and addressing students' emotional distress, the risk of suicide at an early age can be reduced by providing emotional support and resources to help students cope with their emotions and face life's challenges.

TOOL INDICATORS

Habilmind's Emotional Wellbeing Screening uses 13 indicators to analyse emotions, level of resilience and behaviour in situations of discomfort.


At the end of the evaluation, customized reports are issued on each of the following indicators:

Fear

Emotion experienced when faced with a real and imminent danger where physical or psychological integrity is threatened.

Ira

This emotion is experienced in the face of intense frustration that exceeds the limits of self-control.

Emotional expressiveness

Ability to identify emotions and express them in a balanced and respectful way.

Self-esteem

It is the assessment of oneself, derived from personal history and the beliefs of others about oneself.

Sleep disorders

Indicator of sleep disturbance: nightmares, difficulty falling asleep, interruptions.

Aggressiveness

Presence of challenging and aggressive behaviors that influence coexistence and relationships with others.

Screen abuse

Excessive use of electronic devices; preference for screen-related activities.

Sadness

Emotion experienced when someone or something important is lost.

Anxiety

It is experienced in response to a sensation of real or imaginary danger, taking the form of nervousness, restlessness, and uneasiness.

Optimism-Pessimism

It is the filter through which reality is perceived based on beliefs and lived experiences.

Motivation-Demotivation

It is the internal energy that guides towards the search and achievement of satisfaction.

Changes in eating habits

Indicator of dietary impact: increase or reduction in intake, as well as changes in habits.

Social isolation

It is the constant preference for solitude, a reflection of internal discomfort.
